Autograph letter signed : [n.p.], to Guillermo [de Torre], [ca. 1925] Feb. 2.

Commenting on Argentine literary circles and on his own scholarly and editorial pursuits. Surveying and evaluating the particularly fertile Argentinean literary magazines with their "thousand and one editorial projects," Borges anticipates a burlesque issue of Proa and the publication of Don Segundo Sombra in the journal Martín Fierro. He reports that he is studying Joyce, who has "avoided the evasive and allusive style I manifest in my own writing." With mention of numerous Argentine literary figures.
